Starting off each day feeling Alive & Motivated...
I jumped out of bed this morning… like literally. For the first time in a while I was so ecstatic to get up and get to it. My mind was wired… I was enthused about all the exciting stuff I’m working towards and I also felt incredibly blessed to be able to have the opportunity as I do, every single morning of each day. That's a gift in and of itself. That opportunity is Being ALIVE, and not only being alive but Feeling alive too. I meditated on this this morning and realized that this incredible feeling comes from giving myself TIME. Time for myself. Time to deepen in to my core, my soul if you will. I couldn’t get past this amazing feeling of motivation, like something really great is just around the corner. And you know the best part about all of this… even though I don’t know exactly what that looks like… I can feel it and it feels real, and satisfying and true to what I have been praying for for quite some time now.
The SHIFT is happening… ahhh and it feels oh so good. So, let me ask you this… what if you spent some time with yourself in the morning? What if you woke before or at your alarm and brought yourself out of bed to a comfortable place in your home? A place where it’s quiet, a place where you can get cozy and warm. A place free of your cell phone, t.v. and any distractions. And you just sat, seated in a comfortable position for even just 5 minutes, and tuned into your breath and felt your essence. Is this possible for you? Do you love yourself enough to give yourself time, time to deepen into your core, time to allow yourself to breath and just be? This is the most important gift you can give yourself each and every day… time to tap into your awareness and be with yourself before your day unfolds. It’s a beautiful thing really… even though it may seem far fetched or redundant… if your morning practice starts off with peace and quiet… perhaps your days become easier? And perhaps the "busy-ness" in your life takes a shift for the better... creating ease and calm and fulfillment? Now that is a beautiful gift you can give yourself if I do say so myself.
Have a happy, peaceful day my loves.
